As If Productions recently upgraded the website of the Experimental Television Center from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7. As Drupal developers know, the upgrade from 6 to 7 is particularly hairy and not at all intuitive. The job was especially complicated as the center features a massive Biblio-based database, which required manual reconstruction in MySQL.
The Center was founded in 1971, an outgrowth of a media access program established by Ralph Hocking at Binghamton University in 1969; today, the Center continues to provide support and services to the media arts community.
