In 2010, Open Magnet Charter School made the jump to Drupal in a big way, and AIP helped them do it. Along with a new visual design by crispelements, the site features an invisible-but-complex infrastructure of roles and editorial access controls allowing parents, teachers and school administrators to connect in useful and dynamic ways.
The site’s unique mechanical features include popup videos using the Shadowbox media player, dynamic calendars for all teachers, departments and school events, and a jQuery-driven header which cycles through hundreds of headshot images.
