As If Productions (AIP) is the web studio of Tod Foley, specializing in the development of custom online interactive systems.
Founded in 1991, AIP has produced immersive websites, virtual worlds, roleplaying games, CD-ROM games and live promotional events for clients including Comedy Central, 20th Century Fox Films, Sony/Epic Records, Times-Mirror Magazines, Walt Disney Records, Revelations Entertainment, Iron Crown Enterprises, The WELL and The Electronic Cafe International. No matter what type of interactive system you have in mind, we're here to bring it to life - from concept and development to webhosting and support.
Your online home for everything Hollywood, the team over at Hollyscoop contracted AIP to migrate their web-and-television empire over to the Drupal platform. The new site features a unique userpoints system, fivestar ratings for all content, integration with major social networks, a huge archive of online videos, a vast complex of photo galleries for celebrity snooping, and a mobile version for gossip-on-the-go.
The new home site of Eastman Outdoors (a division of Eastman Enterprises, Inc.) brings gourmet cooking to the outdoors with both classic and modern outdoor grills, woks, fryers, burners, cookware and other culinary essentials. The site was built in Drupal 6, using a variety of custom Views, Slideshows and other UI enhancements. Project managed by Matt Groulx of Eastman Enterprises.
The official website of Eastman's new product line: "Gorilla Treestands" is officially our best example of a highly advanced Drupal 6-based ecommerce site. Besides the typical arrangement of product nodes and the ubiquitous Ubercart, this site also features a live EDI system for two-way data transfer from the legacy sales system, and a cron-based data import system ensuring that searches for local retailers are always up-to-date.
In 2010, ImNotObsessed.com became a first for us - the first site ever migrated by AIP from WordPress to Drupal, and then back to WordPress again.
After 3 years on the Drupal platform, owner/editor Vera Sweeney decided to scale back on advanced community-oriented functionality and move back to a more direct blogging approach. While the community features have been removed and some minor differences do exist, we took pains to retain her custom Drupal Theme when migrating it to the WordPress platform. The resulting site retained the exact same look as its predecessor.
The one-page presence site of W2W recording artists BelleVoxx provided audiences with a first glimpse (and it seems, the last one) of this charismatic trio of female vocalists. The Drupal-based site included embedded videos, a forum, and a full compliment of themed Drupal 6 core features. Design by Paul Chamberlain of Cerebral Itch.
The official website of the Anopi Nation - the Westchester, Los Angeles chapter of the YMCA Indian Guides - made the switch to a Drupal-based system in the Summer of 2010. The new site features a complex but user-friendly application of the Organic Groups and Notifications modules, allowing members of each Tribe to communicate with each other online, post blog entries, upload and their view home-made videos, and learn about upcoming Anopi events. Design by crispelements.
In 2010, Open Magnet Charter School made the jump to Drupal in a big way, and AIP helped them do it. Along with a new visual design by crispelements, the site features an invisible-but-complex infrastructure of roles and editorial access controls allowing parents, teachers and school administrators to connect in useful and dynamic ways.
Legacy West is an exclusive, upscale sober residency located in Santa Monica, California. Their new website is the latest incarnation of our Axis CMS system, backing up a classic and soothing design by Brian Koester of crispelements. The site also features a nifty custom slideshow we built using using the jCarousel jQuery plugin by Jan Sorgalla.
W2W Records is the new record label headed by Frank Thomas - yes, that Frank Thomas - and their debut presence page on the web is a simple but effective sampling of the musical offerings they already have in the works. With the handy jCarousel jQuery plugin by Jan Sorgalla, a fresh design by the ever-resourceful folks at Cerebral Itch and a handful of social media tools, we launched this website in record time.
Pink Piggy™ is a mobile coin-changing and converting service that makes it easy for you to turn your loose change into money you can use. Their website, designed for presence, promotion and sales, uses our Axis CMS software for its speed, flexibility, and ease of editing. Site design and production by Paul Chamberlain of CerebralItch.
