In winter of 2009-2010, Asiance Magazine - connecting Asian American Woman to the World - upgraded their site to Drupal 6 and picked up a number of neat new features along the way. The new site includes an expanded Community section divided into 5 creative professions (artists, designers, filmmakers, models and writers), as well as a Forum and a Userpoints system. |

Ten25Enterprises wants to make online dating fun again. That's why they came up with the concept for MyDealbreakers.com: a unique online dating site that cuts to the chase, letting you look for potential partners by specifying what you aren't looking for. The site functions as a simple matching game, challenging you to match "Dealbreakers" with the person who made them. The underlying game engine was developed by As If Productions, using a combination of Drupal 6 modules and custom PHP scripts. |

The official website of the Las Vegas-based television program of the same name, the HomeOwner Talk website is a customized installation of AXIS CMS. Outfitted with the ever-flexible Shadowbox media player, here friends of the program can watch archived episodes and submit their own homeowner questions for consideration in future episodes. Another happy WordPress-to-Drupal migration, Celebrity Baby Scoop is (you guessed it) the place to go for up-to-the-minute information on celebrity babies, and celebrities who have them. The site features a growing community of self-styled User Groups, a custom AJAX-driven Slideshow demonstrating the power of jQuery, and an expectancy calendar indicating all the upcoming due-dates of the stars. In 2009 an upgrade and expansion was required for the flagship publication of Portovert LLC, creators of Portovert.com (praised as "The Number 1 Green Wedding Site" by Martha Stewart Weddings). This Drupal-based Green Wedding site now includes a tagged, searchable Shopping section and a popular Green Wedding Guide, in addition to the feature articles and photogalleries of its predecessor. |
Asiance Magazine
A complex and evolving magazine with a dedicated community site, Asiance Magazine is a good example of a highly customized Drupal theme. In migrating the site from Drupal 4 to Drupal 5, we faced a number of challenges due to lack of support for discontinued modules. Many of the site's features required custom-coding to retain compatibility with legacy data structures. Design and Flash programming by Jondela Design. |
Structural Focus
The portfolio/presence site of the architectural engineering firm StructuralFocus takes advantage of the Axis CMS system and pushes it to its limits. The site features a number of dynamic animated effects using AJAX and the Prototype library, as well as a "gallery" feature which is a modified version of Shadowbox.
